in brief.

I’m a freelance designer and writer based in Kingston/Katarokwi (in Ontario, Canada), experienced with residential and commercial projects. I work out of my home office and serve clients both locally—in person—and remotely.

I hold a Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) from Yorkville University (2023) and a Certificate in Residential Interiors from the University of Alberta. I’m a WELL AP, LEED Green Associate, and Intern member of ARIDO and IDC, and volunteer with the Eastern ARIDO Community. In the local community, I am a member of our municipal Arts, Heritage, and Culture committee.

the longer version.

Curiosity and love of learning are part of my metaphorical DNA. Before design training, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Semiotics from the University of Toronto and a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University. I have worked as an actor/theatre maker and instructor, web designer, arts and education administrator, publicist, event planner, yoga teacher, and freelance writer, and these past experiences inform my design process. You can learn more about my professional background on LinkedIn.

I’m passionate about design and the potential of design to revise the status quo — spatially, symbolically, functionally, materially! — + make people’s lives better.
